Assistant Professor- AZ- Clinical Psychology (.6 FTE)
About the role
The Clinical Psychology Program at Midwestern University, College of Health Sciences, invites applications for a part-time (.6 FTE) position of Assistant Professor on the Glendale, AZ Campus. The program is APA accredited and awards a Psy.D. degree. It operates on a quarter system and students typically complete their training within four years. The program offers an optional Neuropsychology and Health Psychology track.
Responsibilities
- Teach courses in psychological testing/assessment in the general curriculum
- Contribute to the oversight and advisement (including dissertation mentorship) for students in the neuropsychology concentration
- Periodically provide supervision coverage of students at the Psychology Clinic at the Therapy Institute
Requirements
- Graduate of an APA-accredited clinical psychology program (Psy.D. or Ph.D.)
- Licensed as a psychologist in the state of Arizona
- Excellent communication skills
- Relevant experience in graduate level teaching, clinical practice, and research
Qualifications
- Doctorate in Clinical Psychology
- Experience in teaching and research
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
