About the role

The position involves conducting clinical activities as an obstetric anesthesiologist in Birmingham, AL, and performing teaching, research, and service to the UAB Heersink School of Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical activities as an obstetric anesthesiologist
• Teach medical students and residents
• Participate in research projects related to obstetric anesthesia
• Provide service to the UAB Heersink School of Medicine

Requirements

• Completed fellowship in obstetric anesthesiology
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in anesthesiology
• Eligible for Alabama medical license at time of hire

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited anesthesiology residency program
• Completion of an accredited fellowship in obstetric anesthesiology
• Board Certification in Anesthesiology
• Ability to obtain an Alabama medical license
