About the role
This role supports clinical priorities focused on quality, patient-centered outcomes, and effective care delivery. You will collaborate with clinical leaders, operational teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve standards, workflows, and execution.
Responsibilities
- Engage in didactic and clinical teaching for prelicensure nursing programs
- Develop and teach courses in Maternal-Child Health and other specified nursing areas
- Produce scholarship that meets tenure requirements
- Advise students and provide support for their academic journeys
- Serve on committees and participate in university and disciplinary communities
Qualifications
- Earned doctoral degree in nursing or related field; BSN or MSN if doctoral isn't in nursing
- Registered nurse license issued in California upon hire
- One year of full-time direct patient care experience in relevant nursing specialty within the last 5 years
- Record of accomplishments in teaching, scholarship, and service suitable for tenure track
- Strong commitment to teaching, scholarship, and cultural diversity
