Requirements
- Minimum of two years of proven experience teaching studio and lecture courses.
- Earned at minimum a terminal degree in Architecture (M.Arch.), Interior Design, is ABD or has earned an advanced degree (Ph.D., D.Arch, etc.) in a cognate discipline such as urban design.
- Comfortable working directly with students in the classroom and studio.
- Proficient and comfortable with technology (hardware and software) programs used in architectural firms and practice.
- Willing to join an established team of educators and practicing professionals.
- Committed to building a culturally inclusive and diverse faculty.
Qualifications
- Retaining a status as a Registered Architect is preferable; a willingness to pursue registration is a plus.
- Willing to actively advise and mentor students, recruit, participate in weekend campus tours and advise student groups such as our new National Organization of Minority Architecture Students Chapter.
Skills
- Comfortable with technology (hardware and software) programs used in architectural firms and practice.
- Willing to keep current on advancements in professional and instructional technology.
Benefits
- Salary starts at $55,000 and is commensurate with education and experience.
