The Department of Neurosurgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track.
Responsibilities
- Expertise in complex spine surgery with specialization in minimally invasive spine surgery
- Career interest and subspecialty expertise including but not limited to endoscopic, robotic, and minimal access approaches
- Must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree
- Must be ABNS certified or eligible and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in clinical care and education
- Training in a post-graduate spine fellowship is required
- Teaching responsibilities may include the education and training of medical students, residents and fellows
- Clinical responsibilities may include the practice of complex spine surgery, including open and minimally invasive techniques
Requirements
Candidates must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
