Assistant Professor ( 2 Positions Available)
About the role
The Department of Biological Sciences at Marshall University is seeking two full‑time tenure‑track Assistant Professors in neuroscience. Positions are partially funded by the NSF EPSCoR Track I award “West Virginia Network for Functional Neuroscience and Transcriptomics (WV‑NFNT)”, which aims to build inter‑institutional capacity for studying synaptic and circuit plasticity using super‑resolution microscopy and spatial transcriptomics. Successful candidates will join a growing, dynamic team and are expected to become part of the WV‑NFNT network linking institutions across the state. Research interests aligned with immune function, metabolic regulation/dysregulation, and responses to exogenous drugs or other stimuli are particularly welcome.
