Assistant Production Manager - Days
About the Role
Join the PECNA team as an Assistant Production Manager and contribute to transforming the world through sustainable energy. This role involves managing production lines for Lithium-Ion batteries, implementing manufacturing strategies, and ensuring production goals are met while exceeding customer expectations for quality, cost, and delivery.

Responsibilities
- Manage functional production teams to meet manufacturing KPIs.
- Empower, develop, and reward individuals and teams for performance and growth.
- Ensure company resources are utilized to sustain safe manufacturing and distribution excellence.
- Drive ongoing improvements in production efficiency using Lean principles.
- Coordinate with internal cross-functional teams to fulfill customer and company goals.
- Attend management meetings and provide detailed input on production goal status.
- Implement production manufacturing strategy and strategic operational goals.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required, including a full Tyvek suit, safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, bump cap, and a full hazmat suit with a respirator.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business, or equivalent manufacturing management experience.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a high-speed/high-volume manufacturing setting.
- Lean Six Sigma and continuous process improvement experience.
- ERP transactional experience.
- 5S experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
