Key Responsibilities
- Aid the Procurement Specialist with sourcing, ordering, and tracking materials, supplies, and equipment.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming deliveries for accuracy and condition.
- Cook up distribution of materials to appropriate departments or storage areas.
- Maintain accurate records of orders, receipts, and inventory levels.
- Communicate with vendors regarding order status, discrepancies, and delivery issues.
- Support inventory organization and assist with periodic counts.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including minor repairs and general upkeep.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized office and warehouse environment.
- Conduct regular walkthroughs to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns.
- Cook with external vendors and service providers for repairs as needed.
- Aid with facility-related projects such as equipment setup, furniture moves, and workspace adjustments.
- Aid with seasonal maintenance activities (e.g., snow removal coordination, HVAC filter changes).
Qualifications & Skills
- Basic knowledge of facility maintenance practices and tools.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and move materials and equipment as required.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer proficiency for tracking orders and inventory.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
