Job Details Description Salary: $90,000 annually Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–4:00 PM Key Responsibilities Instructional Leadership Partner with the Principal to lead and sustain high-quality instruction across all classroomsConduct classroom observations and provide actionable, growth-focused feedbackSupport data-driven decision-making to improve student outcomesFacilitate professional learning communities (PLCs) and instructional best practices Student Services & Special Education Oversight Oversee IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring in alignment with IDEA and MSDE requirementsChair IEP meetings and ensure compliance with timelines and documentationSupport behavior intervention processes, including FBA and BIP developmentCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including related service providers School Culture & Climate Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive school environment for all students and staffPromote restorative practices and positive behavior supports (PBIS)Address student discipline in alignment with school policies and best practicesBuild strong, trust-based relationships with students, staff, and families Operations & Compliance Support daily school operations, including scheduling, staffing, and systems managementEnsure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulationsAssist with audits, reporting, and accreditation processesServe as acting school leader in the Principal’s absence Family & Community Engagement Serve as a key liaison between school and familiesFacilitate parent meetings and support effective communication strategiesBuild partnerships with community organizations and external stakeholders Staff Development & Coaching Support staff evaluation, coaching, and professional growth plansMentor new teachers and support onboarding processesLead and coordinate professional development opportunities Required Qualifications Master’s degree in School Administration, Educational Leadership, or a related fieldMaryland Administrator I or II Certification (or eligibility)Experience in special education, school leadership, or instructional supervisionStrong knowledge of IEP law, IDEA, and compliance requirementsDemonstrated ability to lead teams and cultivate a positive, collaborative school culture Preferred Qualifications Experience in nonpublic or special education school settingsKnowledge of trauma-informed practices and behavioral frameworksExperience with MSDE audits or compliance reviews Compensation & Benefits Medical plans starting at $6.90/month (Day 1 coverage)Dental and vision insuranceLife and disability insuranceGenerous paid time off403(b) retirement plan with employer matchPaid training and tuition assistanceEmployee referral bonuses and recognition programsClear pathways for growth and advancement Apply Today Build a meaningful leadership career where your work directly impacts students and families.
