A rating of effective or highly effective on the two most recent performance evaluations. Copies of both evaluations must be included with your application.

Required Qualifications

• Master's Degree required
• Hold Florida certification in Educational Leadership or School Principal
• Minimum of three (3) years of successful teaching experience
• Possess a valid Florida driver's license

External Candidate Qualifications Needed

• Currently serve as a principal or assistant principal and have 2 or more years administrative experience
• Currently included in an approved candidate pool in another district, provided the requirements to be included are similar to Hernando County's requirements
• You must provide documentation of acceptance in the other district's AP pool
