Responsibilities

• Assist the principal in developing caring learners through the administrative operations of the school
• Provide instructional leadership
• Provide individual guidance
• Facilitate school-wide improvement of instructional effectiveness leading to increased student achievement
• Assist in the supervision of staff in the school
• Oversee professional development activities
• Oversee district curricular programs
• Work effectively with community and parent patrons
• Manage building care
• Oversee student activities
• Handle student discipline
• Develop school policies and procedures to ensure compliance with District, State and Federal educational policies
