About the role
The Assistant Principal (Elementary) plays a crucial role in supporting the academic and administrative needs of the elementary school. They work closely with the principal to ensure that all students receive a high-quality education and that the school operates efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Supports the principal in implementing district-wide initiatives and policies.
- Maintains a safe and positive learning environment for students and staff.
- Assists in the development and implementation of educational programs and activities.
- Collaborates with teachers to improve student achievement and address individual student needs.
- Oversees the day-to-day operations of the school, including attendance, discipline, and emergency procedures.
- Works with parents and community members to build partnerships that support student success.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- A master's degree in education administration or a related field is preferred.
- At least five years of experience in educational leadership, preferably at the elementary level.
- Knowledge of state and federal education laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $68,440.00 to $82,458.00 per year.
Schedule
