About the Role
In this role, you will collaborate with the Lead Teacher to create a safe, developmentally appropriate, and engaging classroom environment utilizing the High Scope curriculum.
Responsibilities
- Engage children with fun, hands-on activities that foster both cognitive and social-emotional growth.
Requirements
- Must have full-time availability and reliable transportation.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- CPR Certification is required but can be completed within 30 days of hire.
- Prior experience in early childhood education in a classroom or as a private nanny (preferred).
- Have a Child Development Associate credential (CDA) or working towards a degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred).
- Ability to pass a Background Screening (fingerprinting).
- Strong communication skills and a passion for continuous learning and growth.
Pay
Pay range: $14.50–$20.50/hour (rate based on years of experience in early childhood education plus licensing credential, CDA, or degree in the field).
This position does not qualify for US Visa sponsorship or relocation.
Schedule
Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:15 am–5:15 pm.
