Assistant Preschool Director

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Preschool Director to provide outstanding leadership for our preschool ministry.
• Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and staff.
• Support teachers so they can provide exceptional educational experiences.
• Help oversee daily operations, licensing compliance, student records, and financial processes.
• Foster a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can flourish.
• Step into classrooms as needed, modeling Christ’s love through compassionate care and servant leadership.

Requirements

A bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field is preferred. A valid Colorado teaching license is required. Experience working with children ages 2-5 is preferred, but not required. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently are essential. A passion for Christian education and a heart for children are also required.

Qualifications

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and staff. The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively is crucial. A commitment to fostering a Christ-centered environment is expected.

Skills

Exceptional leadership, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team are key. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with preschool curriculum materials are beneficial.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $40,000 - $45,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
