Assistant Planner

Responsibilities

  • Support the Director of Retail Planning with in-season business decks, ad hoc analysis, and data entry.
  • Own the end-to-end execution of weekly business reporting; accurately update and distribute performance reports to the teams.
  • Learn and utilize planning tools and systems, including planning templates, weeks of supply (WOS) tracking, and forecast reporting.
  • Build a foundational understanding of inventory management principles, including Open-to-Buy (OTB) and sales trend analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Allocations, Buying, E-commerce) to align on business goals and support growth through shared data analysis.
  • Assist with planning and forecasting of replenishment buys and related analyses.
  • Affiliate in quarterly hindsight recapping, focusing on insights related to key performance indicators (KPIs).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Math, or Finance preferred.
  • Proven knowledge and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate them into actionable insights for inventory and sales.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, especially when handling data.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for clear collaboration with team members.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated knowledge of data analytics principles and experience with information systems.
  • Proficiency in Business Objects.
  • Experience in Anaplan.
