Assistant Photography Operations Manager

Job Summary

The CADY Assistant Photo Operations Manager supports the Photography Operations Manager in overseeing a team of hourly photographers to deliver memorable photography experiences. This role involves assisting with photographer coordination, logistics, scheduling, and equipment maintenance while ensuring high standards of customer service and creativity.

Qualifications/Skill Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must pass a satisfactory background check.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Available to work weekend hours during the busy season.
• Professional demeanor with customers and team members.
• Familiarity with business systems and a willingness to learn new platforms.
• Able to support and motivate a team to achieve high standards.
• Able to stay organized and efficient in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm under pressure.
• Experience supporting or managing a team (10 or more preferred) and working within deadlines.
• Minimum of 2 years of photography experience preferred.
• Creative problem-solving skills.
• High School diploma or equivalent education.

Physical Requirements and Environmental Factors

• Frequent standing and walking for long shifts and extended periods of time.
• Bending and lifting equipment up to 40 lbs.
• Able to bend or stoop.
• Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Able to ascend and descend a ladder.
• Able to read, write and speak in English.
• Able to verbally communicate with customers and team members.
• Significant noise and other potential sensory stimulants (i.e., busy retail environment with camera flashes, music, tight spaces and crowded areas).
• Team members must be comfortable working in fast-paced, high-energy environments with music, crowds, and lighting equipment.
