Assistant Patient Care Manager (APCM), Urgent Aid/EMS Offsite ER- Full-Time, Night
About the role
This position is a 100% onsite opportunity. You will need to be based in the greater Chicagoland area. Eligible for a Sign-on Bonus up to $15,000.
Responsibilities
- Maintain new hire and annual staff certifications via health stream, lab training completion
- Collect and analyze quality metrics such as QC 30 total Chest pain/ Pneumonia charts monthly
- Conduct DNV rounding completion
- Monitor and respond to schedule changes, staffing shortfalls, cover call-offs as needed
- Precept new staff
- Perform daily/shift rounds for compliance with regulatory requirements; crash cart logs, refrigerator logs, etc.
- Performs other duties assigned
Qualifications
- 3-5 years RN in Emergency Department preferred
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing/BSN required
- Current RN license for State of Illinois
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS (CEN preferred, not required)
- RN core competencies for specialty and current leadership competency work

Shift: Night, every 4th weekend
