Education

Erskine College invites applications for full-time, tenure-track assistant or associate professor positions in chemistry in the Department of Chemistry and Physics.

Responsibilities

• Colleges & Universities General chemistry and associated labs each semester
• Organic chemistry and associated labs each semester
• Biochemistry and associated labs each semester
• Chemistry for non-science majors and associated lab each year
• Physical and analytical chemistry courses and labs on a biennial schedule
• Seminar courses for juniors and seniors each year
• Inorganic chemistry and environmental chemistry and lab as needed

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required; Ph.D. in Chemistry preferred
• Personal relationship with Jesus Christ
• Commitment to Erskine’s mission, vision, and statement of faith
• Willingness to offer spiritual support to students and staff
