Assistant or Associate Professor HS, Department of Biochemistry

We are seeking two faculty members at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Candidates should develop a research program focused on understanding the molecular basis of disease, with expertise in areas such as genetics, genomics, bioinformatics, metabolism, developmental biology, neuroscience, regulation of gene expression, or protein structure/function. We are particularly interested in applicants who can contribute to teaching and training in metabolism and/or bioinformatic approaches.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an extramurally funded and productive research program.
• Participate in teaching undergraduate, graduate, and professional students.
• Contribute to administrative responsibilities within the department.

Requirements

• Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent degree in a relevant field.
• Strong record of research success, demonstrated by impactful publications and a clear vision for future work.
