About the role
The Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Utah is seeking a neurosurgeon who is Fellowship Trained in Spine Neurosurgery to fill a tenure-track position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.
Responsibilities
- Work within an active academic department with clinical, teaching, and research responsibilities.
- Develop a community-based practice across a broader spine-based spectrum of services.
- Contribute to translational and outcomes research aligned with the Department of Neurosurgery's mission.
Requirements
- Board certified or board eligible in neurosurgery.
- Fellowship trained in spine neurosurgery.
- Established evidence of excellent surgical training and successful research efforts.

- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach.
