Assistant Operator - Liquid Coating

About the role

Perform tasks necessary to deliver orders from inventory, pack, verify, and label shipments.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean and orderly work area/warehouse
• Follows company's quality standards and safety policies
• Reports unsafe working conditions
• Counts, weighs, measures, or examines packaging and contents of items for conformance to company specifications
• Completes necessary paperwork, packing slips, pallet lists
• Moves material to designated areas with forklift
• Able to read and understand Metric and standard tape measure

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three years of experience preferred
• Ability to work at a fast pace
• Ability to multi-task and read production tickets
• Ability to perform math calculations including fractions
• Must be able to read tape measure, including micrometers
• Must be computer literate
• Must be dedicated to continuous improvement
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, bend, stretch, or stand for extended periods of time
