Responsibilities
- Work as part of a team in support of a manufacturing operation with a goal of increasing productivity; decreasing downtime and waste.
- Receive and follow directions from the Operator and/or Supervisor.
- Aid machine operators in setting up orders, mounting printing and cutting dies, ink adjustments, and ensuring quality checks are performed before, during, and upon completion of each order.
- Inspect the machine during the run and notify the Operator when acceptable parts are not being produced.
- Aid in the cleanup of equipment.
- Follow all company safety rules and lock-out/tag-out procedures.
- Maintain the shop and shop equipment according to 5S Standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must attend the hiring event on August 6th (8 AM - 5 PM EST).
- High School Graduate or GED.
- Passionate about maintaining a safe work environment.
- Ability to stack parts up to 30 lbs. for a period of up to 12 hours.
- Ability to work overtime and weekends, as needed.
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Willingness to work closely on a day-to-day basis with other production personnel.
- Ability to share ideas with others to solve problems of essential importance.
- Starting salary for position: $20 per hour.
- Bonus: Annual – Based upon achievement of plant performance metrics.
