Assistant Operations Supervisor / Group Supervisor Asst

About the role

The Assistant Operations Supervisor supports the day-to-day operations of residential units, promoting client participation in treatment and adherence to unit programming. This role involves immediate supervision of Security Counselors and Security Counselor Leads, coordinating key operational functions, and ensuring a safe, secure, and therapeutic environment.

Responsibilities

• Aid other Group Supervisors in managing residential unit operations.
• Promote client participation in treatment and adherence to unit programming.
• Support and uphold MSOP policies, procedures, and expectations.
• Coordinate and facilitate Job Coach activities, searches, and ICS drills.
• Provide immediate supervision to Security Counselors and Security Counselor Leads.
• Affirm the overall operations of residential units, ensuring a safe, secure, and therapeutic environment.

Requirements

• One (1) year supervisory experience in a therapeutic, residential, or corrective environment.
• Two (2) years lead work or professional experience in a therapeutic, residential, or corrective environment providing counseling, rehabilitative patient care, or direction of client care programs.
• Three (3) years paraprofessional experience in a therapeutic, residential, or corrective environment providing counseling, rehabilitative patient care, or direction of client care programs.
• One (1) year of any supervisory experience may be substituted for a maximum of six (6) months of experience.

Qualifications

• Have a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Rehabilitation Therapy, Health Sciences, a Behavioral Science, or a related field.
• Have one (1) year of any supervisory experience.

SkillsExperience working with patients/clients with sexual psychopathic personalities, sexually dangerous persons, mentally ill and dangerous, or with developmental disabilities.

Pay

$32.21 - $46.72 / hourly; $67,254 - $97,551 / annually
