About the role

The Assistant Operations Manager – Housekeeping position at Hyatt Centric Times Square New York is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting and takes pride in creating exceptional experiences behind the scenes. You’ll lead daily operations across housekeeping and public areas, coach, develop, and schedule team members, deliver exceptional guest experiences, uphold safety, cleanliness, and operational excellence, and foster a positive, high-performing team environment.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • A passion for service and creating memorable guest experiences
  • 1-2 years of progressive experience in hotel Rooms or Housekeeping leadership
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • A collaborative, high-energy leadership style
  • Attention to detail and a drive for operational excellence
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
  • Union experience (preferred)
  • Hospitality degree (a plus)

Qualifications

  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills
  • 1-2 years of progressive hotel Rooms Management experience, housekeeping management experience preferred
  • Service oriented style with professional presentations skills
  • Hotel/Hospitality degree an asset

Pay

$66,300 – $72,000 (based on experience)
