The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) is a registered nurse responsible for overseeing clinical and operational activities within a designated shift, supporting the unit's planning, organization, and evaluation. The role emphasizes a culture focused on patient-centered, whole-person care, diversity, inclusion, and a commitment to serving diverse communities.

Responsibilities

• Managing clinical and non-clinical staff
• Ensuring compliance with professional standards and regulations
• Implementing policies
• Coaching and mentoring staff
• Collaborating to deliver quality patient care
• Providing managerial presence across shifts
• Offering input on staff performance

Qualifications

Required: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BS or BSN), Washington RN license, Basic Life Support (BLS).

Preferred: Recent clinical work in acute care, leadership roles such as charge nurse, familiarity with shared governance.
