Role Overview This position is for an Assistant Nurse Manager in the Operating Room, overseeing POD 2, which includes Trauma, Ortho trauma, plastics, upper extremity, reconstructive joints, and ortho oncology cases. The role involves coordinating patient care, managing personnel, maintaining equipment, and ensuring operational efficiency. Responsibilities include hiring, training, evaluating staff, developing staffing and budget plans, and overseeing staff productivity to meet department goals. The role requires creating collaborative care plans, documenting patient interventions, and handling staff scheduling, payroll, and performance reviews. The position emphasizes leadership, team management, and adherence to safety standards.
