Assistant Nurse Manager - Interventional Radiology

Role Overview: This position involves managing nursing staff within Interventional Radiology and Radiation Oncology departments, including RN's, Nurse Navigators, and Nurse Coordinators. Responsibilities Supervise and evaluate staff performance, handle hiring, training, and professional development.Oversee patient care, ensuring interventions meet patients' needs and are properly documented.Develop and implement staffing plans, manage departmental budgets, and respond to operational changes.Coordinate staff scheduling, assign nursing tasks, and manage payroll and time tracking.Lead staff meetings, communicate updates, and support disciplinary actions if necessary.Ensure departmental productivity aligns with organizational goals. Qualifications & Skills RN license with 2-5 years of nursing experience, including supervisory experience preferred.BSN required; Bachelor's degree preferred with 5-10 years of experience and less than 2 years of supervisory experience.Radiology experience is a plus.
