Assistant Nurse Manager - Interventional Radiology

About the role

This position involves managing nursing staff in Interventional Radiology and Radiation Oncology departments, including RN's, Nurse Navigators, and Nurse Coordinators.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and evaluate staff, including hiring, training, assigning work, and conducting performance reviews.
• Ensure departmental productivity aligns with operational goals and manage staffing, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Oversee patient care, developing collaborative care plans based on assessments and medical treatments.
• Manage staff scheduling, payroll, and communication, including staffing needs and disciplinary actions.
• Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Lead nursing operations, staff management, ensuring quality patient care, maintaining equipment, and supporting departmental goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-5 years RN experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• BSN required; Bachelor's preferred.
• RN licensure is mandatory.
• Additional radiology experience is preferred.
