Assistant Nurse Manager - Emergency Department

Role: The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department provides specialized, high-quality care in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Responsibilities Manage patient care, coordinate interdisciplinary team efforts, and ensure adherence to treatment plans.Supervise staff by hiring, training, evaluating performance, and conducting professional development.Participate in staffing, budget development, and resource management to meet operational goals.Ensure documentation and compliance with policies, and support quality improvement initiatives.Lead and support a diverse team, including assigning nursing duties and overseeing productivity. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and active RN licensure.Minimum of 2 years RN experience; preferred 5-10 years with some supervisory experience.Experience in Emergency Department preferred; leadership skills and ability to thrive in a dynamic setting required. Key Duties: Oversee patient care delivery, staff supervision, operational efficiency, and compliance within a Level I Trauma Center environment.
