About the Role
The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) is a registered nurse responsible for managing clinical and operational activities within a designated shift, reporting to the unit director/manager. The ANM supports planning, organizing, and evaluating unit services, providing managerial presence across shifts, and overseeing clinical and non-clinical staff.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with professional standards and regulations.
- Implement policies and procedures.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to staff.
- Collaborate to deliver high-quality patient care.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BS or BSN).
- Active Alaska RN license.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
Qualifications
- Preferred experience in acute care, charge nurse roles, leadership, and shared governance.
Schedule
Part-time, working day shifts on weekends.
