About the role
The Assistant Nurse Manager will oversee daily clinical operations of outpatient clinics. They will coordinate activities to ensure quality and safe patient care, anticipate and resolve issues, maintain staff competencies, perform RN duties as needed, and participate in various committees and meetings.
Responsibilities
- Oversee nursing personnel and patient care providers in the clinical setting.
- Cook anticipates and resolves patient care and personnel issues.
- Ensure maintenance of annual staff competencies and continuing education.
- Collaborate with care coordinators for smooth and effective care transitions.
- Participate in department leadership meetings.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and patient safety initiatives.
- Assume responsibilities of the clinical manager as needed.
- Conduct hiring and onboarding of personnel, conduct annual performance reviews, and implement performance improvement plans.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.
- Two years of recent experience as a Registered Nurse.

Pay
Minimum Annual Salary: $78,000.00 Maximum Annual Salary: $119,392.00
