Assistant Nurse Manager - Ambulatory OBGYN

About the role

The Assistant Nurse Manager will oversee daily clinical operations of outpatient clinics. They will coordinate activities to ensure quality and safe patient care, anticipate and resolve issues, and collaborate with care coordinators.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing personnel and patient care providers in the clinical setting.
• Collaborate with care coordinators to ensure smooth and effective transition of care.
• Participate and/or coordinate committees, task forces, and continuous improvement activities.
• Participate in department leadership meetings.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and patient safety initiatives.
• Assume responsibilities of the clinical manager as needed.
• Participate in hiring and onboarding of personnel, annual performance reviews, and performance improvement.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.
• Two years of recent experience as a Registered Nurse.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience preferred.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and patient safety initiatives.
