Assistant Mgr

America's Car-Mart is seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Assistant Manager with extensive supervisor experience in retail sales and a passion for creating positive customer experiences. Responsibilities

• Receive training and perform duties in several departments, including office, service, collections, sales, and inventory management.
• Learn lot-level staff functions, operations, management viewpoints, and company policies affecting each phase of business.
• Set and monitor performance goals with upper management.
• Attend company-sponsored training classes.
• Work alongside associates to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures, and standards required for departmental duties.
• Receive training in related departments to facilitate transferability and promotional opportunities.
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.

Requirements

• Extensive prior supervisor experience.
• Ability to solve problems and implement innovative solutions.
• Computer proficiency and strong mathematical skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience mediating conflict in the workplace.
• Availability to work flexible hours, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Acceptable driving record and valid driver’s license.
• Basic knowledge of, and interest in, automobiles (a plus).

Pay

$40,000 to $55,000 base salary plus monthly bonus opportunities based on dealership sales and collections goals.
