What you will do

You will join us as a Residency Faculty member in our ACGME accredited Family Medicine Residency Training Program. Your responsibilities will include:

• Rendering professional medical services to the patient population of Delaware Valley Community Health, Inc.
• Providing care to patients with special awareness of vulnerable populations treated in our health centers
• Completing documentation of patient visits in the patient chart
• Supervising the medical staff of the Health center and acting in a lead administrative capacity with regard to health center operations, chart review, and required reporting requirements

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited medical school
• Possession of a current license to practice medicine in the state of Pennsylvania
• Board certification in specialty preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
• Experience with treating substance use disorder preferred
• Interest in precepting medical students and residents
• A minimum of three years of experience as a practicing physician in primary health care setting
• Maintaining credentialing and privileging criteria as outlined in the credentialing and privileging policy
• Ability to present a positive, enthusiastic, and tolerant demeanor while directly working with patients
