Assistant Media Planner

About the role

Obsessed Media is an independent media group dedicated to improving client media impact through strategic plans, creative solutions, and measurable outcomes. We seek an Assistant Planner eager to contribute to our dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Keep accounts running smoothly: regular status updates, project timelines, budget tracking, billing follow-ups, flowchart updates, and category/competitive monitoring.
• Partner with senior team members to develop research critical to strategies and media POV development.
• Organize projects, maintain documents, and ensure clear communication.
• Research prospective clients and categories, turning insights into quick-hit profiles.
• Compile case studies and campaign results for pitches and credentials decks.
• Format and polish presentations to effectively communicate our ideas.
• Coordinate with media vendors to gather proposals, confirm specs, and update plans.
• Prepare insertion orders, monitor pacing, and address delivery issues proactively.
• Use syndicated tools and competitive intelligence to research vendors, assess audience fit, and identify trends to act upon.
• Track live campaigns for accuracy and negotiate make-goods when necessary.

Pay

$23 - $25 / hr with eligibility for overtime per FLSA
