Key Responsibilities
- Overhaul and repair maintenance vehicles, mowing equipment and other power equipment
- Lubricate and service all equipment
- Inspect equipment for operating deficiencies and make routine adjustments where necessary
- Maintain up-to-date understanding of hydraulic systems, repairs and their components
- Inspect, change and repair tires
- Absorb and assist in controlling tool access and use by maintenance staff
- Clean working areas after repair work is completed
- Assist in training the maintenance staff in the proper care and upkeep of the golf course equipment
- Operate or train to operate various types of maintenance equipment as needed
- Incorporate safe work practices in job performance
- Perform other duties as required
Minimum Qualifications
- Certificate from college or technical school
- Must have 2+ years of experience with small engine repairs and maintenance
- Must have a valid driver's license
Other Qualifications
- Must be a quick learner and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required
