Thames Shipyard and Repair is looking for a reliable, hard-working Assistant Mechanic to join one of the largest commercial ship repair facilities between New York and Boston. Willing to train the right person.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday: 6:30 AM–4:00 PM
- Saturday: 6:30 AM–2:00 PM
- Overtime available Monday–Saturday
- Double time available Sunday
Responsibilities
- Small engine repair
- Vehicle repair
- Brakes
- Front end work
- Electrical (a plus, not required)
Requirements
- Pre-employment drug test
- Respirator fit test and physical
- Willing and able to work outside year-round and in all weather conditions
