About the role
Assistant Managers at Helzberg Diamonds are responsible for assisting the retail store in achieving sales goals. They direct daily retail operations and participate in company training programs leading to a Store Manager position.
Responsibilities
- Generate sales to exceed personal sales goals
- Work as a team in a sales presentation to overcome customer objections and close additional sales
- Develop selling skills in team members to achieve store goals
- Provide first response to difficult associate and/or customer interactions in the Store Manager's absence
- Offer outstanding customer service to each and every Helzberg Diamonds' guest
- Assist the Store Manager in recruiting top-performing associates
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of experience
- High School education
The Ideal Candidate
- Possesses a proven history of selling in a commission environment
- Can supervise others to achieve results
- Has superior communication skills
- Is flexible to work with a variety of personalities
- Has one to three years of jewelry retail experience
- Has a Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, retail management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Is willing to relocate
- Can work a flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
