About the role

Responsible for monitoring vendor performance, delivery efficiency, inventory, and cost/budget analysis using KPI reports from vendors. This role also includes managing daily inbound operations for Local/KD areas, such as Account Payable and Damage and Exception management due to irregular handling. Supports management in summarizing data and costs of inbound logistics and coordinates with vendors for daily operations.

Responsibilities

Percentage of time spent on each activity:

  • 35% Vendor (Carrier) Management
    • Supplier performance monitoring
    • KPI tracking, reporting, and improving activities
    • Bidding (RFQ) support
  • 30% Logistics Costs Analysis
    • Monthly summarization and analysis
    • KPI control
    • Manages and creates master sheets for SOWs (Statement of Work) or BUs (Business Unit)
    • Prepares materials to discuss with concerned companies or departments (INAC/ICTA, Engineering, Purchasing)
  • 20% Account Payable Operation
    • Prepares required documents for ACH approval
    • Collects and reviews invoices and supporting documents required for payment process
    • Submits payment requests to the Accounting Department
    • Maintains data for SAP-HANA
    • Maintains payment records to support proper accounting control
  • 10% Inventory Control
    • Collects and summarizes information, creates actual inventory status and future perspective
    • Manages and creates monthly reports
  • 5% Damage and Exception Management
    • Communicates with stakeholders, warehouse operators, transportation providers, and insurance contacts
    • Ensures damage cases are reported, documented, and processed within required timing
    • Manages and validates repair costs and responsibility allocation for cases under ILNA scope
    • Submits claims, accounting, and supporting documents accurately and on time
    • Follows up on case status through closure and supports discussions of preventive actions for major incidents

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent, with emphasis in accounting, finance, or related discipline
  • Minimum four years of experience or similar level of work experience in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment

Skills & Qualifications

Knowledge

  • Broad understanding of business; knowledge of the automobile industry and logistics desirable
  • Basic understanding of accounting and budgeting

Skills & Abilities

  • Proficient PC skills in Microsoft Office applications
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment

Physical Standards

The employee must be able to access, enter, and retrieve data using a computer. This is primarily a sedentary position in a controlled office environment which requires only occasional reaching, stooping, and lifting of office files, reports, or records, typically weighing 5 lbs. or less.
