Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Works directly with Food/Beverage Manager to provide leadership, training and support for all food service team members and enhance guest experience through quality control of goods and services provided to guests.
- Must be able to fulfill all functions and duties of all Food and Beverage Department positions.
- Supervise food and beverage staff to ensure efficient daily operation.
- Schedule proper staffing for shifts based on the needs of the business while remaining at or below budget.
- Identify staffing levels daily and identify when to cut back or where to assign team members for the day.
- Conduct pre- and post-shift briefings with all Food and Beverage Department employees.
- Operate all kitchen and kiosk equipment safely and properly.
- Follow all park policies and procedures.
- Initiate and impose disciplinary action according to park policies and procedures.
- Conduct in-service and ongoing training of employees to ensure optimal guest satisfaction in quality, service, safety and efficiency, as well as establishing and maintaining guest service standards.
- Supervise guest experience to ensure excellent customer service is provided by the food and beverage staff.
- Ensure all park policies and procedures are followed by all employees.
- Aid customers with all questions regarding Hawaiian Waters Waterpark including facility layout and amenities.
- Maintain monthly and daily inventory and help with organizing and ordering.
- Other duties as assigned by Food and Beverage and Catering Manager.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Experience in department or equivalent supervisory experience preferred.
- Demonstrate ability to work independently and is self-motivated and self-directed along with ability to solve problems.
- Communicate effectively with the public, customers and staff members.
- Be aware, attentive, and work well with others.
- Energy and enthusiasm for long days.
- Work in extreme conditions and take precautions, to include hydration, and sun-protection.
- Must have or be willing to obtain the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission Alcohol Seller/Server Certification.
- Must have or be willing to obtain a Food Handler's Permit.
- Able to stand or walk for long periods of time.
- Able to lift, carry, move, and/or position items weighing up to or in excess of 50 pounds, to include being able to lift and lower and carry 25 pounds above shoulder level.
Pay Range
$20 - $25 per hour
