Maintain staffing levels
Maintain staffing levels to ensure adequate departmental coverage at all times
Maintain standards in quality
Ensure standards in quality of all beverage services
Maintain efficiency
- Ensure efficiency of service through on-site monitoring on the casino floor and back of the house areas
Communicate needs
- Communicate any departmental needs to the Beverage Manager
Assist in maintenance
- Assist in maintaining company and departmental health and safety standards
- Complete appropriate reports for shift as required by Beverage Manager
- Maintain accurate and adequate employee records, ensure all employee relation issues are handled in a professional manner and issue commendations and disciplinary action as necessary
Support operations
- Aid in overseeing orders and maintaining of par levels of inventory for each beverage outlet
- Reduce waste and breakage of all products by helping to maintain a safe working environment
Facilitate meetings
- Conduct meetings and relay pertinent information to the staff before the start of the daily shift
Ensure compliance
- Absorb bar porters and bartenders have the necessary gaming permits before clocking in
- Maintain the cleanliness of all the bar areas
Manage staff
- Manage, monitor and mentor staff to ensure they are following proper policies and procedures
- Supervise casino floor, service bars, and all beverage outlets
Support goals
- Achieve all service, financial, and human resource goals set forth by company executives
Qualifications
- Minimum three years management experience in high volume hotel and/or casino beverage department required
- Knowledge of all beverage equipment necessary
- Excellent communication skills required
- Ability to communicate in English both verbally and written form
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
