Assistant Manager
Overview
Assist the General Manager in hiring, developing, and leading the team to provide a great guest experience and fulfill the mission of inspiring a healthy lifestyle. Utilize operational tools such as Profit and Loss Statement, Daily Business Review, Cash & Deposit Log, and Data Central scheduling and inventory management tools to achieve operational excellence. Collaborate with the General Manager to develop local store marketing plans and initiate community outreach through marketing and special events. Review store environment and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement. Manage cash activities for the store and ensure compliance with food safety guidelines. Champion and embody the culture, mission, and core values of Smoothie King. Maintain store cleanliness and upkeep, including monthly inspections and coordinating equipment or facility updates. Drive implementation of company programs and communicate marketing strategies and promotions to the team.
Qualifications
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a shift lead in a restaurant or similar type of retail customer service business
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to perform basic POS and computer functions
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers, team members, and the community
- Flexibility to work a variety of days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- ServSafe Certification (paid training available)
