Assistant Manager

About the role

As an Assistant Manager, you will assist in operating a single store, including hiring, managing, and directing associates to achieve financial goals and ensure exceptional guest experiences. A 3+ week paid store leadership training program will prepare you for success.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the operation of a single Panda Express store
• Hire, manage, and direct associates to meet financial goals
• Ensure delivery of exceptional guest experiences
• Maintain food safety standards (Serve Safe certified)

Requirements

• High school diploma required
• Must be flexible to relocate to a store within a 50-mile radius of home
• Available to work a flexible schedule, including opening/closing shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced, high-noise environment
• Effective verbal communication skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities
• Must handle hot/cold foods, use kitchen equipment, and work quickly with accuracy
• Ability to manage conflicts and difficult situations

Pay

$25.50 – $28.50 per hour. Individual pay is determined by work location and experience. Bonus opportunities are available but not guaranteed.
