Assistant Manager

About the role

As an Assistant Manager, you will provide a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring an exceptional "Judgement Free" member experience. You will lead a team of associates to achieve operational excellence and manage all aspects of the club's operation in the absence of the General Manager.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the General Manager to oversee the entire operation and management of the club, ensuring a positive member experience, teamwork, and operational excellence.
• Manage and be responsible for all aspects of the club’s operation in the absence of the Club General Manager.
• Work productively as part of a team and motivate and inspire the team to achieve club productivity and customer service goals.
• Follow all Company standards to ensure the work shift contributes to the financial best interests of the club, utilizing the individual and collective skills of the team effectively.
• Assist with recruitment, hiring, and training to ensure the club is fully staffed at all times.
• Ensure excellence in customer service by creating a welcoming environment, greeting and assisting members, and quickly responding to member inquiries and needs.
