Assistant Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Assistant Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a proactive approach to problem‑solving, and the ability to perform a wide range of maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Perform regular inspections of facilities and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently and effectively.
• Maintain and update records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and work orders.

Qualifications

• HVAC certified.
• Must participate in on‑call rotation for nights/weekends.
• CPO certified a plus.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and general repair techniques.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay

• $24.00 per hour, paid bi‑weekly.
• Closing Occupancy Bonus, paid monthly.
• Retention Bonus, paid monthly.
