Assistant Maintenance Techinican

About the role

As an Assistant Maintenance Technician, you will maintain the overall maintenance and appearance of a 240‑unit apartment community for current and prospective residents. You will be an integral part of keeping residents satisfied, handling day‑to‑day maintenance operations and general upkeep of the community.

Responsibilities

• Being on‑call for 24‑hour maintenance emergencies
• Completing grounds work such as trash pick‑up and light landscaping
• Assisting with various types of maintenance: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and preventative

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED required
• At least two years of experience
• Provide and use your own tools
• Maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors, and maintenance staff
• Possess basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
• Must pass pre‑employment drug testing and background check
