Assistant Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities
- Assist in directing and managing routine cleaning, maintenance & repair, including, power washing, slurring, striping, sweeping, commercial painting.
- Assist in the management of the day-to-day activities of assigned projects including supervising day/evening maintenance crew ensuring completion of all daily, weekly, monthly and annual maintenance and cleaning projects.
- Assist with management duties including: scheduling, monitoring and checking of timecards.
- Supervise the completion of all ongoing and future projects.
- Monitor and implement effective safety procedures.
- Report any known accidents, safety hazards or unusual occurrences observed or suspected violations of Company policy to the General Manager, Maintenance Services
- Assist with cleanup of debris, water, oil spills and etc.
- Conduct regular facility and equipment inspections to ensure all are in good maintenance conditions.
- Ensure compliance with environmental standards and corporate governance.
- Lead programs to improve client and customer satisfaction.
- Perform other necessary functions as assigned.
Qualifications

- Education Required: High School Graduate. Some college a plus.
- Intermediate computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- Have a thorough knowledge of all areas of maintenance.
- Ability to perform general repair, electrical, mechanical, and cleaning maintenance.
- Desire a minimum of six months worth of experience in the service industry (maintenance industry preferred), but not required.
- Superior communication skills verbal and written.
- Must be proactive with strong personal drive and proven customer service skills and must be willing to lead by example.
- Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule.
- License Requirement: Must possess a valid state-issued driver’s license with current address and acceptable driving record.
Pay
Salary Range: $62,000 - $66,000 annually per year
