Assistant Maintenance Manager

About the role

C&W Services is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager to lead a team in maintaining electrical and mechanical equipment, particularly conveyor systems, at logistics and fulfillment sites. This role requires a bachelor's degree in industrial maintenance, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent management experience.

Responsibilities

• Assigns job plans and oversees departmental goals.
• Manages maintenance team members and promotes C&W Services internally and externally.
• Demonstrates leadership and decision-making skills.
• Formulates and implements standards and work procedures.
• Maintains positive relationships with customers and employees.
• Achieves departmental objectives and key metrics.
• Liaises with account managers, planners, customers, and departments.
• Provides coaching and mentoring to team members.
• Evaluates compliance with company and customer regulations.
• Communicates with team members to develop goals and objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial maintenance, engineering, or related field (preferred).
• At least 3 years of management experience in a similar role (5 years preferred).
• Working knowledge of repairs and preventive/predictive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Knowledge of basic/power tools, shop math, pneumatics, power transmissions, parts nomenclature, measurements, and fasteners.
• Familiarity with operating and understanding of heavy industrial equipment such as forklifts, scissors lifts, and boom lifts.
• Flexibility to work all shifts, including holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain CMRP or ICML MLT 1 certification.
• Experience with repairs and preventive/predictive maintenance on conveyor systems.
• Knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and specifications.

Pay

$86,700.00 - $102,000.00 annually.
