About the role
C&W Services is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager to lead a team in maintaining conveyors and sorting equipment across multiple logistics and fulfillment sites. This role requires a strong background in industrial maintenance and a bachelor's degree in a related field.
Responsibilities
- Assigns job plans and oversees maintenance team activities to meet departmental goals.
- Manages the maintenance team and promotes C&W Services both internally and externally.
- Demonstrates leadership and decision-making skills, formulates standards, and provides feedback on service delivery.
- Maintains positive relationships with customers and employees.
- Ensures maintenance objectives and key metrics are met.
- Liaises with account managers, planners, customers, and departments.
- Allocates time for one-on-one coaching and mentoring with high standards.
- Achieves performance expectations as outlined in performance appraisals.
- Communicates with team members to develop short and long-term goals and objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering, Management, or related field (preferred).
- At least 3 years of management experience in a similar role (5 years preferred).
- Working knowledge of repairs and preventive/predictive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Knowledge of basic/power tools, shop math, pneumatics, power transmissions, parts nomenclature, measurements, and fasteners.
- Flexibility to work all shifts, including holidays and weekends.
Qualifications
- Ability to obtain CMRP / ICML MLT 1 certification.
- Experience with operating and understanding complex heavy industrial equipment such as forklifts, scissors lifts, and boom lifts.

$90,950.00 - $107,000.00
