Assistant Maintenance Manager

About the role

C&W Services is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager to lead a team in maintaining electrical and mechanical equipment, particularly conveyor systems, at logistics and fulfillment sites.

Responsibilities

• Assigns job plans and oversees departmental goals.
• Manages all C&W Services maintenance team members.
• Promotes C&W Services internally and externally.
• Demonstrates leadership and good judgment in decision-making.
• Formulates and implements standards and work procedures.
• Maintains positive relationships with customers and employees.
• Achieves departmental objectives and key metrics.
• Liaises with account managers, planners, customers, and departments.
• Allocates time for one-on-one coaching and mentoring.
• Safeguards compliance with company and customer regulations.
• Oversees adherence to applicable codes, standards, and specifications.
• Develops and oversees quality assurance and quality control inspections.
• Communicates with team members to support goal setting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering, Management, or related field (preferred).
• At least 3 years of management experience in a similar role (5 years preferred).
• Working knowledge of repairs and preventive/predictive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Knowledge of basic/power tools, shop math, pneumatics, power transmissions, parts nomenclature, measurements, and fasteners.
• Familiarity with operating and understanding of heavy industrial equipment such as forklifts, scissors lifts, and boom lifts.
• Flexibility to work all shifts, including holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain CMRP / ICML MLT 1 certification.

The compensation range for this position is $90,950.00 - $107,000.00.
